The Foundation used Professor Dweck's visit to share the insights of her growth mindset research with strategic influencers and practitioners from health, education, community, business and sport.
The series of events explored the practical application of her research and aligned it to the development journey of a child. Our key focus was on how the key influencers in a child's life can potentially work together to use growth mindsets to unlock the potential within every young person in Scotland.
We had over 1100 people attend the events over the three days and have had some great feedback so far with many attendees telling us how they're already planning to put developing a growth mindest into practice through their work. Please take a look at the slides from the events.
The aim is now to think about how all of us can work together to share and develop practical ways of developing growth mindsets with our youngsters. This could be setting up working groups, enabling meetings or connecting people with common interests. We are also looking for partners who would like to work with us on this topic.
Please do get in contact if you are interested in partnering with us.
