The Winning Game

strategic areas

The Winning Game is an innovative games based learning tool which enhances your ability to make decisions correctly under pressure.

An in-game coach provides instant feedback and suggestions for improvement, combined with an intelligent debriefing and assessment system for identifying your own strengths and weaknesses – all of which is based on the Winning Theory.

The Winning Game is based on the Winning Theory by Yehuda Shinar and was originally developed by Winning Enterprises under the support of the Israeli Chief of Science.

The Winning Theory teaches that winners are committed to a concrete, systematic and pragmatic thought pattern with distinct rules of dos and don’ts.

There are 12 different thought patterns which are critical to the creation of a winner, which have been named  “Thinking Correctly Under Pressure” or “T-CUP”.  The behaviour which derives from this distinct thought pattern and its principals is called:  “Winning Behaviour”.

As players progress through the game they will begin to establish a system where they use self-critical feedback and reflection to drive themselves to continually improve. This, in essence, is a key part of what athletes and other successful people do – they make critical assessments of themselves in a healthy manner, as part of a continual and deliberate debriefing process.  When people learn to do this and see the results of such action in the Game, they can begin to easily apply the same principles and techniques throughout all areas of their life.

Through the Curriculum for Excellence emphasis is being placed on the development skills such as problem solving, decision making and creativity.

The Winning Game is an excellent tool for developing these skills and enabling players to realise their full potential, fulfil their ambitions and succeed in life.
