The Foundation’s activities are delivered by a small team of individuals who have a passion for sport combined with business experience.
Susan Jackson – Senior Director
A qualified Chartered Accountant, Susan joined the Foundation in May 2007 after 12 years with Deloitte. Susan is a former member of the Scotland smallbore rifle shooting team. She represented Scotland at the Commonwealth Games in 1998, 2002 and 2006, winning a medal at each one, including gold in Melbourne. Susan has also represented Great Britain on a number of occasions including the World Championships and European Championships.

Tommy Boyle – Director, Positive Coaching Scotland
Tommy joined The Foundation in 2007, and is responsible for the delivery of Positive Coaching Scotland. A renowned athletics coach, Tommy has 38 years experience of coaching at club, district, national and international level. He coached GB internationals Tom McKean, Yvonne Murray and Susan Scott, and in total his athletes achieved 27 medals at European, World, Commonwealth and Olympic level. In addition to ten years experience of coach education and mentoring of Scottish coaches, Tommy has a proven track record in managing blue chip companies most recently as Site Manager of Packard Bell Scotland.

Gregor Townsend – Director, Winning Performance
Gregor joined The Foundation after a successful rugby career. He was capped 82 times by Scotland and played for the British Lions on their successful tour to South Africa in 1997. Gregor has a Politics degree from Edinburgh University and a MBA from Aston University. At The Foundation he is leading the Winning Scots and Winning Mentors programme. Most recently, Gregor has been appointed as attack coach for the Scotland rugby team.

Richard Orr – Programme Manager and Web Editor
Richard is the Programme Manager of Champions and Schools, Editor of www.inthewinningzone.com and author of the ‘Be a Winner’ book. He also helps out with several other Foundation initiatives. He has a BA Hons in English & Politics from Queen’s University and an MSc with Distinction in Journalism from Napier University. He is a former winner of the BBC Young Sports Reporter of the Year award. Richard is a keen and competitive sportsman, playing football, rugby, tennis and squash. Richard has been with the Foundation since 2006.

Susie Adam – Executive Assistant
Susie joined The Foundation in March 2008 and is responsible for administration for the team and ensures that the office runs smoothly. Susie previously worked in membership sales at The Carrick golf club, and for GMFCo organising events such as the Tiree International Windsurfing Championships.

Greig Robertson – Programme Manager, Football, Positive Coaching Scotland
Having joined the team in early 2010, Greig’s role within the Foundation is to roll out the Positive Coaching football programme across the country in partnership with the Scottish FA. Greig has extensive experience in the world of Scottish football, and was formerly Head of Community and Development and an age-group coach at Celtic FC, where he helped some of Scotland’s most talented young footballers hone their individual technique, work ethic and team cohesion.

Janice Reilly - Advisor
Janice has been involved with the Foundation since its inception in 2006. An experienced fundraiser and businesswoman, she is a Director of her own company Figured Ltd, which provides bespoke project development and fundraising solutions for clients. Her clients in the charity sector have included; Inspiring Scotland, The Lloyds TSB Foundation for Scotland, Heriot Watt University, Napier University and The Farmer Foundation. She also has worked in senior development roles with Napier University; The Royal Botanic Gardens Edinburgh, Queen Margaret University and Shelter Scotland. Janice is also a non-executive Director of Gardyne Foods, a Fellow of The Royal Society of Arts, a member of the Institute of Directors and an active supporter of Leukaemia Research. janice.reilly@winningscotlandfoundation.org
