What People Say...

“Sports can do so much. They've given me a framework; meeting new people, confidence, self-esteem, discipiline, motivation. All these things I learned, whether I knew I was learning them or not, through sports."

Our Programmes

One of the ways the Winning Scotland Foundation works toward achieving its vision of Scottish success through sustained effort is via its range of programmes.

Our current programmes introduce new and innovative ways of attracting the young to sport and aim to foster a culture where sport is viewed as an enjoyable way to learn essential skills such as

  • Value of hard work
  •  Empathy
  • Cooperation
  • Respect

Sport is inspirational and brings communities together for the common good.  We will continue to invest our expertise in developing more forward-thinking and brave methods of harnessing the power of sport as an agent for change.
