Positive coaching success in Perth and Mull

Minister for Commonwealth Games and Sport launches the 2013 Champions in Schools programme in Perth

Shona Robison, Minister for the Commonwealth and Sport Games officially launched our 2013 Champions in Schools (CiS) programme in Perth on the 5th of February.
 
The launch comes following the publication of the independent evaluation report of the programme conducted by University of Edinburgh which confirmed that school-age children are highly receptive to receiving life lessons from leading Scottish athletes, and highlighted that the programme is succeeding in developing young people. It is one of many findings that may help increase sports participation further among Scottish school aged children.
